We went hiking up at Salmon Creek which is near Big Sur. It was a great hike back up the canyon, the wild flowers, ferns and poison oak were plentiful, the views of the coastline were gorgeous. The end result was a great waterfall with a lovely pool.

That is one of my all time favorite places to go. We went last time I was home. Have you gone up to the top of the waterfall and on to the big rock. You can even go under the rock its amazing.
